Speaking

I give product development talks & workshops worldwide that help teams change how they think and work.

I’ve been speaking since 2012 and I take it seriously! Whether you’re putting on a conference or in house event, your attendees deserve an awesome experience.

A talk or workshop is a product, and I design every talk and workshop with the attendee experience in mind.

Faced with the challenge of fading attention spans, everything I do is designed to keep the audience engaged. I weave together storytelling, case studies, process, inspiration and passion with the goal of driving people to action.

I am available for talks and workshops worldwide.

My 2020 schedule is filling up fast!

If you’re interested in having me speak or give a workshop for your company or event, email me at hello@sarahdoody.com.

TALK

Why We Need Storytellers at The Heart of Product Development

Far too often, teams focus on execution before defining the product opportunity and unique value proposition.

Leveraging the power of storytelling can help teams focus on the “why” of a product before they become entrenched in the “how”.

This talk provides product teams with storytelling principles and practices that can be integrated into their existing product development methodology.

“Sarah is a great storyteller, a confident speaker and a delight to work with. From an organisers perspective she’s super responsive and professional, delivering everything we requested and more.

From an attendee point of view, she’s great at unpacking complex concepts in an engaging way, makes time for audience members, and is very “present” at the event. Exactly what you’d want from an experienced speaker. As such I’ve already recommended her to other events and will continue to do so.

Here’s what you can expect when I speak at your event.

As my schedule allows, I like to stay for your entire conference. I love connecting with attendees one on one, hearing their stories, and providing value to their unique situation. The experience someone has at your conference extends beyond the time I’m on the stage. This creates a great experience and increases the value for your attendees.

I will help promote your event across social media. I will announce your event to my newsletter audience as well as my social media audiences.

During the event, I will actively engage on social media. As scheduling permits, I will live-tweet during the event to help spread the reach of the content and grow awareness for your event. I love engaging with attendees via Twitter to augment their experience and provide additional touch points beyond my talk or workshop.

Conference attendees will be provided with a unique resources link.I’ll create a special web page for attendees with a link to the slides as well as any other relevant resources, links, and discounts that I think your audience will find helpful.
