DIANE von FURSTENBERG Projects
8 March, 07:00 PM
The idea for the project was birthed from Diane’s desire to move the brand away from the person and establish her company and her style independent of her image.
In 2007, Francois-Marie Banier, a French playwright, photographer, and novelist, partnered with Diane von Furstenberg Projects to create a unique campaign by rendering images as diaries, poems, and paintings. The unique combination of prose and picture present us with a beautifully intense imagery that ingrains itself in the mind.
The idea for the project was birthed from Diane’s desire to move the brand away from the person and establish her company and her style independent of her image.
The campaign is one of the most beautiful, original, and innovative concepts that I have seen in months because it encapsulates the very idea of creation through the expression of inner beauty told through the words and raw emotion.
View the entire campaign and film about the creation of the project.
